This release of Bersirc (Bersirc 2.2.14, Claro 0.0.17) some great improvements, some wanted features, and lots of bug fixes.

We haven't included all we thought we would, but the following larger improvements have been added:

• DCC Support (command-line only, /dcc)
• System tray support (no notifications yet, though)
• Better user-list managing (now as fast as other clients in huge channels)
• Auto-connect dialog (automatically connect to servers and channels of your chose, nickserv and perform are not supported yet, they will come next release)
• Better language support - all text is taken from the language files, selection improved, and German translation comes with Bersirc now - the installer also supports languages, however you'll need to tell Bersirc which language you want as well under Tools -> Options. Want your language in Bersirc? Providing you have time to keep the language updated (text blocks will fall-back to English UK otherwise), translate the XML file, send it to us and we'll include it!
• URL Catcher - lists all URLs that have been mentioned in the Bersirc session (not yet saved on exit, which will be an option later)
  
• Some user-friendly interface improvements, including a "Join Channel" dialog.
• "Window -> Save text" feature allows dumping the current window's buffer to a file (handy for important chats until logging is implemented)
  

We decided to release now because these features, although not all completed, were significant enough to ease a lot of pain for users. The next release, 2.2.15, will contain more complete implementations. You could say that 2.2.14 is a preview release of 2.2.15.
